  2. What it is

    We're naming our new safety tag. Vote for one of our names (More to Me, Look Closer or Speak for Me) or suggest your own.

  3. How to enter

    Tap a sample tag or scan the QR code at the Halcyon table at the NeuroAbantu Summit on 24 October 2026, or go to id.h-ed.co.za/demo. Fill in the form, or a paper slip at the table. Entry is free. One entry per person. You must be 18 or older.

  4. Closing date

    Sunday 25 October 2026 at 23:59 (South African time).

  5. How the name is chosen

    Halcyon chooses the name on Monday 26 October 2026 for how well it fits the product, whether the name is available (domain and trademark), and how easy it is to say and remember. There is no draw and no element of chance. Halcyon may choose one of its own three names, or none of the suggestions.

  6. The prize

    If Halcyon chooses a name suggested by the public, everyone who suggested that name wins one branded safety set (one key tag and one wristband) in the chosen name, delivered from December 2026. Halcyon decides whether two suggestions are the same name. If Halcyon chooses one of its own three names, no prize is awarded. The prize can't be exchanged for cash.

  7. Who can't win

    Halcyon staff and contractors, their immediate families, and our tag supplier.

  8. Results

    On Halcyon's Instagram on Monday 26 October 2026. Winners are contacted by email, or by WhatsApp if they gave only a phone number. A prize lapses if the winner doesn't reply within 30 days.

  9. Your name idea

    By suggesting a name, you agree that Halcyon may use it and that it becomes Halcyon's, with no payment beyond the prize above.

  10. Publicity

    Winners may be invited to appear in our posts. You can say no, and it won't affect your prize.

  11. Early bird

    Everyone who signs up by the closing date gets 30% off one order placed within 14 days of our launch link: R125 tag, R139 band, R229 bundle (normally R179, R199, R329). Courier costs extra; collection at a Halcyon session is free.

  12. Your information

    We use your details only to run this competition, tell you about the launch, and, if you ticked the box, send you Halcyon news. Details of people who don't buy are deleted 6 months after launch. See our privacy policy (https://h-ed.co.za/privacy-policy).
